Good news everyone.
You know how I might have said awhile back we got funding for a year? Well, I think I did in public before. Well, we got funding for another year.
Rest assured we'll be up for yet another year, and possibly more when I get myself financially situated. I was actually considering not announcing this, but I figure holding back such information was a bad decision.
Oh, 'who's the sponsor' you might ask? I'm not going to say. Needless to say if I say it now, someone will try to get funding for their own project from the sponsor. This isn't my decision, it's the sponsor's request. --

So I'm getting mixed results on this ad blocking. Yes, once in awhile it still pops up, but it has done it MUCH LESS for me than it has in recent weeks. Meantime, ET also claims to have dropped in problems, as has Gravitan (I believe). But Greg has told me he had gotten another anti-virus warning about it, and it blocked BZP for 30 minutes or so. So I don't know what the deal is, but it certainly has dropped in potential attacks for me. And as I said, it pops up here and there. There is also the possibility that it never worked, that BZP or Google has figured out how to fix the problem on their end and that it pops up here and there. But I know what I see myself, and I see some change. Now then, if you wish to try the method, then by all means. If you think it won't work, then you don't have to do it, either. But like I said, it works for me. Comment on the Toa Sectra talk page. Thanks. --

EUREKA! I have discovered how to disable the virus on BZPower. AND! You can all do it in IE7 (I haven't tested it in FF2 yet, but you guys have the plugin to disable ads anyway). Here's what you do, in layman's terms. THIS ONLY WORKS FOR INTERNET EXPLORER 6 AND 7, AND I'M NOT SO SURE ABOUT IE6!
- First, copy the following url: http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/ This is important.
- Second, Open the Tools menu box, and click on Internet Options. Then click on the Security tab, and to the "Restricted Sites" section of the 4-section options.
- You do not want "Internet," "Local Intranet," and especially not "Trusted Sites."
- Click on the now-clickable "Sites" button, and add the URL above to it. Click "Add" and then close. Restart Internet Explorer.
- If your security level for the Restricted sites is "Custom," set it to "High." That will put it at the MAXIMUM security that it can. Don't alter it for Internet, Local Intranet or Trusted Sites.
- You may have to clear your cache/internet files or reboot before it works perfectly. I didn't have to.
- Browse BZPower (and any other Google-Ad virus affected area) without problems.
Don't say I didn't give you all a christmas gift. This is a temporary fix until Google cleans up the virus. --

I don't have much to say, except for the fact we're still up. I'm just sick of the small problems we're getting here. That's all. --

So, yesterday BS01 was rebooted. I bet nobody noticed.
Anyway, I began rebuilding my stuff today. It doesn't help my grandpa's still on Antibiotics (the good stuff) and fighting MRSA. But, I managed.
And they wonder WHY I hired so many staff. --
