History
The Phase Dragon species was created by the Makuta using Viruses and Liquid Protodermis to be one of the Rahi to inhabit the Matoran Universe.
When Metru Nui was occupied by Visorak, they would pursue anything that moved, sometimes charging to get something to run and accidentally causing harm.
Abilities and Traits
The Phase Dragons love speed and used to chase airships and vehicles speeding along the Le-Metru Test Track, as well as other Rahi. Although they may look frightening, these Rahi have a surprisingly gentle personality. Their name comes from their uncanny ability to become intangible; they shift to a ghost-like form and are able to "phase" through solid objects. This has been a useful ability on the Test Track, because at high speeds they are likely to hit something hard once in a while. These Dragons also have the power to breathe fire, though it has no relation to the element.

- The Phase Dragon was an entry sent in to The LEGO Group as part of the LEGO Magazine Rahi-building Contest by BZPower member, Locutus of Bohrok. It was given a name and story role by Greg Farshtey in the book BIONICLE: Rahi Beasts.
