Kotu is considered by most to have a sharp mind and a quick, witty sense of humor. Her skills at practical jokes are unequaled amongst Ga-Matoran, which almost everyone has fallen victim to one of her pranks. She helps her best friend Macku play jokes on Hewkii and is a skilled Kolhii player. On Mata Nui, Kotu had the important job of tending to Rahi that had been freed from Teridax's control. Kotu was also chosen by Turaga Nokama to act as her left hand.
Biography
Kotu was among the Ga-Matoran imprisoned in the sunken hut, during one of the Rahi attacks on Ga-Koro. She was later freed by Takua, and witnessed the fight between Gali and the Tarakava that imprisoned them. She later started taking care of the beast recovering from the control that Teridax had over it.
She later took care of the Rahi in one of the huts.
During the Bohrok wars, Kotu alerted Nokama of the arrival of the evacuating Po-Matoran. She later helped in dismantling the paths leading to the aquatic village to keep the Pahrak swarms from "cleaning" Ga-Koro. However when the Bohrok cornered the two Turaga and the other Matoran, Kotu took a final stand with everyone else before the Toa Mata defeated the Bahrag.
When Nokama announced her choices for the Kolhii Tournament, Kotu was surprised that Hahli was picked instead of her, but she helped her by constructing Bamboo poles, and teaching her about Kolhii.
The Ga-Matoran later helped in the construction of Boats to carry the Matoran to Metru Nui, where Kotu now lives.
