The Fire Greatswords were the twin Toa Tools that were used by Toa Mangai Lhikan, through which he could channel his Fire powers.
The swords could also be fitted together to form a shield, a Lavaboard, or a flying board. Lhikan used these swords as a flying board to escape from the Dark Hunters at the Great Temple, and later to save Matoran Vakama from them.
As a Turaga, the Greatswords transformed into a smaller version of themselves, and were usable as a shield by Lhikan. They were lost when Lhikan stepped in front of Teridax when he attempted to absorb Vakama, causing the swords to be taken in his place.
Example Usage
Lhikan caused a hanging lamp to fall on the Dark Hunter Krekka by slicing the attachment with his Greatswords.
Set Information
The Fire Greatswords were released in 2004 in the Lhikan and Kikanalo set. They could be formed, like in the story, to a shield or a lavaboard.
