Onua's Claws helped him dig massive tunnels throughout Mata Nui and channel his Earth power. While they are referred to as Toa Tools, the claws are actually Onua's hands.
When Onua transformed into a Toa Nuva by Energized Protodermis, the claws became Quake Breakers.
Nuhvok Va also carried claws for defensive purposes. Although they were not the same claws as Onua's, they served the some of the same need as Onua's, such as digging.
Example Usage
Onua used his claws to tunnel into a hive of Nui-Rama in the Mata Nui Online Game.
Set Information
Two claw pieces were originally included with the Toa Mata Onua set in 2001. The Nuhvok Va set also carried two black claws, represented by the same pieces.
