Bohrok Promo Animations

The Bohrok Promo Animations were a series of largely CGI-animated videos depicting the Bohrok awakening and causing destruction on the island of Mata Nui. Although many of these animations had only been available as part of very specific media, such as the Bohrok Mini Promo CD, the 2008 BIONICLEstory.com update reissued these animations to be enjoyed by a newer generation of fans.

Main Animations

All six of the individual Bohrok Animations depict each specimen rolling in ball mode into a shaft of light, presumably somewhere in the Bohrok Nest. The Bohrok's Hand Shields detach and lock into position. Next, the legs detch and clamp firmly onto the ground. Finally, the Bohrok raises itself off the ground and explores the surrounding area by jutting out its neck. The Bohrok becomes aware of the viewer, and while at first inquisitive, coils to strike and launches itself at the camera.

2002 Synopsis Animation

Tahu possessed by a Krana.

This animation serves as a kind of year in review for storyline year 2002. It consists of brief animated sequences depicting the Bohrok awakening, how the Krana operates, and Tahu becoming possessed by a Krana. Other official 2002 images are included. This animation was featured in the Bohrok Swarms Promo CD.
