Seems fine to me. Except, why do the Matoran pages have to be different than other characters? What if there's a character who was a Matoran and then transformed into a Toa, like Takua? --[TTN-=-talk-=-contribs] 13:25, 4 November 2007 (PST)
Ooh, and maybe a weapon page could be like this (basically I just edited the Kanohi one):
*Weapon template here*
*Summary of abilities, who used it*
==Example Usage==
==Set Information==
==Trivia== (Only if necessary)
*weapon template here* {{ClassicNav.}}
?--[TTN-=-talk-=-contribs] 13:25, 4 November 2007 (PST)
The Matoran bit was solely for Matoran that have not transformed, because we do not have nearly as much information on them as we do most other characters - basically, less than half of what I suggested being placed for characters would be removed for a Matoran. Takanuva would fall under the first character section. Also, I like the weapons bit. Added. --~|ET|~ (Talk/Contribs) 13:28, 4 November 2007 (PST)
For the characters, a short introduction should be included between the template and the biography section which has the character's name in both and some small details. ~

- Isn't that what the intro paragraph is for? --[TTN-=-talk-=-contribs] 14:49, 4 November 2007 (PST)
- Nice work! Thanks for this, coding help is always open when you're around me :P -- The 1 and Only, Katani the joker, Master Hunter of the Daxia jungle (A page of Blah/My little edit thingy.). 23:45, 4 November 2007 (PST)
How about this for the comics:
*comic template here*
*name of the comic, date of release, author/artist and alt. name here*
==Summary== (Though it shouldn't be timeline-ish like it is now - it should be more like the books summaries)
==Trivia== (if needed)
==External Links== (like a link to the comic itself in PDF format, or a textless version (Shine has those, I think) )
{{ClassicNav.}}
--[TTN-=-talk-=-contribs] 03:39, 5 November 2007 (PST)
I most definitely agree here - especially with the summary section. I'll add it on later, though I can't do it now. Thanks for makin' it for me. ^_^ --~|ET|~ (Talk/Contribs) 03:49, 5 November 2007 (PST)

Appearances
So is there any particular order for the first part of it? You know, comics first, then novels, then movies? Also, do things like video games and animations are to be counted as non-canon media? - KZN02
- I had assumed the first part was clear enough. It's chronological order by story - so, the comics, books, and movies would be not be in order by publication, but intermingled with the others to produce a "timeline."
- And if they are non-canon, yes. --~|ET|~ (Talk/Contribs) 05:50, 9 November 2007 (PST)
- You see, the problem with that, ET, is that some books (all Adventures, Legends #4, etc.) are occurring both in the past and in the present. So you can't really say that they happened "before" such and such, since the stories are actually told "after" such and such. --[TTN-=-talk-=-contribs] 06:51, 9 November 2007 (PST)
- This is what we did before, and it worked fine. On the note of the Adventures books: The main story occurs in the past, so that is how they should be ordered. Legends 4 is the only real tricky one. That one we just have to sort of guess and find a good placement for it. --~|ET|~ (Talk/Contribs) 06:58, 9 November 2007 (PST)

Another question: what about those fan-made saga guides and serials like the Toa Nuva Blog? Are they considered part of novels? - KZN02
Should the appearances not be grouped in a complete storyline chronological order? ~

Another question: what if there's a book and movie of the same story (i.e.: Mask of Light movie and book), which goes first? - KZN02
- At least to me, it doesn't really matter. Though I usually put the movie first. --~|ET|~ (Talk/Contribs) 14:29, 24 November 2007 (PST)
Categories Formatt
([Default Template Cats] ->) [Element Cat] -> [Category Cat e.g Characters] -> [Group Cat e.g Barraki] -> [Locations Cat]
Tools vs. Objects
After perusing the Category pages for both Tools and Objects, it occurred to me that many (most) items belonged to both. I think a definition should be laid down for both and each page should only belong to one of the two, with the exception of some unique items. --The Trigger, Infosmith (Talk|Contribs) 21:09, 26 November 2007 (PST)
Wars
Is it safe to assume that the template for Wars is identical to that of Battles? Jetslandingboard 07:08, 27 November 2007 (PST)
- Uhh. Actually, we don't have a wars template... And I don't ever recall there being one. --~|ET|~ (Talk/Contribs) 07:10, 27 November 2007 (PST)
Trivia Sections
Do we need them? Most trivia could be incorporated into the main article, eliminating the need completely. ~Lih
- That often is the goal, yes, but it can't always be done. Take voice actors or Kopaka being Greg's favorite character, for example. Where it can be, though, that would be the best course of action. --~|ET|~ (Talk/Contribs) 13:33, 6 December 2007 (PST)
Quote order
This pretty much goes without saying, but maybe it should be mentioned that the quotes in the quote section should be in the order they were said in the story. At least, I think so. --Red Yoshi 64, RY64 (Idle Chatter|The Evidence) 10:34, 15 December 2007 (PST)
External Links
Where would they go on a character page? ~dR. ChOlIe™ (Blab/Fun fun fun!) 17:03, 12 January 2008 (PST)
- Oh, how could I have forgotten that? External Links have always gone at the end of articles - but above the nav. templates, of course. Methinks I should go add that somewhere to the policy... --~|ET|~ (Talk/Contribs) 17:05, 12 January 2008 (PST)
- And, while you're there, could you add an extra space between "Here is how the appearances sections of articles should be organized." and "*All comics/books/movies/short stories/web serials/etc. ..." And why is the appearance category all caps? 0_O ~dR. ChOlIe™ (Blab/Fun fun fun!) 17:08, 12 January 2008 (PST)
Animations/Movies
I think we should attempt to create a guideline for animations and movies. What do you all think? --~|ET|~ (Talk/Contribs) 09:56, 19 January 2008 (PST)
- Well, what would we have for it? What happens, location, characters? - KZN02, The Editor (Talk|Contribs)
- I was thinking a summary and a character list... But I dunno if there should really be more on there. I know trivia sections as appropriate, but beyond that, I don't think anything else is needed. That's why I'm asking for opinions - to see if somebody thinks there is anything else that should be added to these types of pages. --~|ET|~ (Talk/Contribs) 12:58, 22 January 2008 (PST)
Guides
So we order guides by release date? Well, some guides like Rahi Beasts and Dark Hunters are canonical so should we order those by timeline? - KZN02, The Editor (Talk|Contribs)
Mentioned Only
So what qualifies as that? An entry in a book, mentioned on the fly, etc.? - KZN02, The Editor (Talk|Contribs)
Numbers vs Letters
Is it better to have something like "one hundred" instead on "100"? Just wanna be clear on that… « Bfa »
- I usually base that on what the number is... If it's something small like "1," then I spell it out. If it's a larger name, like "1,000," then I just write the numerals. --~|ET|~ (Talk/Contribs) 17:33, 19 May 2008 (PDT)
Quotes
Should a quote at the top for Kanohi pages be made standard? --Banana Cream? (Telephone!|Been there, done that...) 07:49, 6 August 2008 (PDT)
- I don't think so. WIth the exception of legendary, they would either be lame or just a description of their power which would be dupe info. Kraahlix
- Even with Legendary Masks, their quotes are all on how powerfull and dangerous, which is already stated in the article. --Banana Cream? (Telephone!|Been there, done that...) 19:06, 6 August 2008 (PDT)
