Our Guarantee
I was hoping not to make this policy, but this is something we NEED.
Due to recent pages, we all need to agree on a policy for information relevance. Since this is beyond me, and it concerns a community, I am letting the community add via the Talk page any suggestion for rules. All rules will be decided by staff via a meeting.
But these are rules #1 and #2:
- Have your source ON HAND and READY TO GIVE. You should be able to defend ANYTHING tossed at your page. An example would be a page reference in a guide book, or a page and quote from a novel, or a link to a Greg quote.
- If it is a story reference, please have THREE seperate examples of it in the story. This is another thing. If it has been in the story three times or has enough relevance to a particular story, then we should know enough about it. But if we had seen it once, or twice even, but only saw enough to guess at it, it should go on the Parent page as a paragraph describing its role. Also, if it has a set and it is a Rahi, then it may be allowed. Also added to this rule are minor characters; three examples of the use of it for a page. However, if the character/Rahi was seen once but made a BIG impact, then it may merit a page as well.
