Nomination Rules

This is relatively new, and won't take action until otherwise noted, but there are some rules that -need- to be put into action. Here are some of the norms one should follow in nominating a FC:

• Nominate one article. It's simple, no?
• Sign your name when nominating. It's kind of hard to give a vote if you haven't signed...
• No Parent Pages. Yes, they're nice and all, but they're lists. Please pick an article from one and nominate it instead. This also goes for Categories and Templates (which weren't nominated anyway).
• No Stubs. This was already mentioned before, and it still applies.
• If your nomination did not make it in this time, you are welcome to reapply it. However, you should know by now if it didn't win, you probably should help improve it to figure out why...
• And finally, make sure the article is worthy enough to be featured. We're trying to showcase BS01, not just put our favorite characters. It's annoying enough to reapply Makuta of Metru Nui every week, especially if he changed very little. It's even more annoying to have other pages nominated when all they say, in a nutshell, is "Hi, I'm {insert Toa name here}". UPDATE 8th of April 2008 Starting from the next nomination rounds from 08/04/2008, articles may no longer be nominated for the reason that the character "died" or sustained any injury. The FC is here to feature good articles, not to moan for a character whenever somebody dies or sustain great injuries.
  • Please be reminded that the purpose of the FC is to feature well structured and written pages on the BS01 Wiki. It's not a place for you to nominate your favorite characters, objects, Rahi etc.

Featured Chronicle Mata Nui And stampeding into the headquarters of the FC this week, is the enormous and omnipotent Mata Nui, the Great Spirit! This giant robot...thing has awoken after 1,001 years of slumber, sleeping underneath layers of crust, dirt, and rock, and made an island to cover his face. We at the FC understand why he does that; after all, taking care of the universe is as tiring as beating people with sticks, and everybody deserves a nice long sleep. Since most of Mata Nui is still covered in rock and dirt with the word "SPOILERZ!!!" printed on them, we won't go any further. Why don't you go to the page and read about this dirty old robot?
