The Featured Specials (Fs/FS), or formerly the Collaborated/Featured Specials and Collaboration Featured Chronicles, is a group of official Wiki specials which are featured on the Main Page. Initially started in 2006, the original CFC was plunged into hiatus after the second great downtime. However, it has since been restarted under new leadership and includes many more features than before.

Every week, members of BS01, like you, may nominate articles, quotes, images and other users for the various spotlights offered by the Fs. You can then vote for the ones you most prefer, and the winner of each special will be starred, in full glory on the Wiki front page, for one to two weeks.

Nominations

Except for the Userpage Spotlight, all nominations begin on Sunday, and finish on Thursday. To propose an article for a Fs special/department, please go to either of the six consecutive pages and click on the link under the "Nomination" sections. You must link to the page you are proposing, or the 'hub' page, by adding {{PAGENAME}} around the pagename and sign your name with a ~~~ or ~~~~.

Do not propose something that has already been proposed, or edit in saying you support the proposal. If you want to show your support for that article, you can do that when the poll is up.

If there are only two or less entries nominated for any special, entries will be added randomly by the head of Fs until there are at least three entries.

Voting

Voting will take place on Thursday and finish on Sunday. The winners of each poll will become the respective Fs special. If something occurs which causes a delay in voting, then voting will take place as soon as possible and last for four days and nominations will occur as normal. (i.e If voting is postponed to Saturday, voting will take place on Saturday and end on Tuesday. Nominations will begin on Sunday, as usual, despite voting taking place. The only exception is if voting is delayed by a week, or otherwise halted by the head of F;, General Manager or the owner. In that case, voting and nominations will both be postponed until the next cycle.)

If information regarding nominations and voting differs from this page on the other department pages (Except for Userpage Spotlight), the information located here is considered to be the final and correct info.

Valid Reasons

The valid reasons rule is effective for Featured Chronicles and Member Spotlight. What this rule means is that every vote made in the Voting Center must contain a valid reason for it to be accepted. This helps remove the possibility of a page or member being selected as the winner simply out of personal preference and liking, undermining what the specials should be starring: High quality pages/members or pages which needs to be drastically worked on.

The valid reasons rule gives the head of Fs the right to remove any votes he/she considers provides an inadequate reason as to why the article/member should be selected as the winner. Examples of this would be votes which simply consists of a signature or reasons such as "[Character/Member] is so cool he/she must win!!!" or "this character is cool so he/she must win!!!".

The rule will also be enforced on the nomination area of the three specials. However, to ensure there are nominations by the end of it, the nominated titles will remain, and only the statement or the nominator's signature will be removed. If another person finds a nomination with no reason or signature below, it is most likely that the vote tied to that nomination has been removed, and therefore feel free to add back the vote by supplying a signature and a valid reasoning.

A substitute will act if the person in charge of certain duties does not perform or is unavailable to perform their duties 2 days after the end of voting. Any staff who do not work for over 4 sessions of Fs will be removed from the staff team.
